{100 Followers and a GIVEAWAY!!!} CLOSED

I have been blogging for a little over a year now, and I never dreamed it would someday blossom into what it has become...a place where I can pour out my heart, my challenges, and inspire and encourage women in their daily lives. The comments I get from readers on my posts bless me so much, and I am just amazed that God would use me to touch the lives of even a few people, let alone many!

Getting to 100 followers doesn't mean I've arrived at some great place of popularity or achievement, but it excites me that 100 different people have chosen to follow me for whatever reason, and read what I have to say about my life. It's pretty darn fun.

So to celebrate you wonderful 100 people who have chosen to follow me, and celebrate the upcoming birth of my 3rd baby boy, I am hosting my very first giveaway! I am so excited to bless 1 winner with some pretty awesome prizes!

First off, the winner will get to choose 1lb of Starbucks coffee or Tazo loose leaf tea of their choice! That is worth up to $15.95 just for 1lb of coffee! Plus a $5 gift card so you can get a drink too!
This is their new Blonde Roast, which I have tried, and it's SUPER amazing!

ALSO...

I am giving that same winner $25 towards any item in the cutest little shop, run by my friend Jenn, Butterfly Designs!! She creates her own aprons, which are gorgeous, and she makes baby items that are adorable!

Just look at some of the things she has...

She is also throwing in a super cute diaper strap to the person who wins!! They are so fun, and make running a quick errand easy! They hold diapers and a wipes case snugly, and you get to choose whichever design you want! Thanks Jenn!

I really want the give away for any one of the people in my life that are pregnant - so my favorite memory of Starbucks. In college my friend would go there everyday for a week before a big test. The barista, Caleb, knew what we wanted depending on how far away our test was (more caloric and delicious as the day came closer and closer). Before my test for my Board of Certification test to become a Certified Athletic Trainer, Caleb gave me the sweetest note wishing me good luck and a coupon for a free coffee the morning of my exam! Nicest thing ever!

  8. Best Starbucks memory would of course be the one that happened 6 years ago (here in a few days, actually!) when my Hubby proposed to me at an interstate Starbucks parking lot in Texas. Not your typical proposal, but Starbucks holds a special place in my heart. ;)

  10. My favorite starbucks memories are all composed of college memories. I'm currently still in school and so many monumental things have happened there. It's where I study for school, where I bonded and strengthened a friendship with a classmate at our local starbucks, it's where I broke up with my high school sweetheart / long term boyfriend (not exactly a favorite memory), and it's where I just recently had my first cup of coffee! (I know I'm a little late on that one).
Starbucks is a monumental place for my life for sure.

My husband was in the Marines when we were dating stationed in Camp Pendleton, Ca, We would meet about 4 times a week (I lived an hour away) at Starbucks and get to know each other until the wee hours of the morning. Then I would drive home and be up for work by 8 am! Oh back when we were young! LOL

  36. My favorite memory is the times I get to share my life with my daughter amanda joy, while we sip on starbucks vanilla coffee with vanilla creamer here at home. Memories are made spending time and sharing life with those you love the most... I so look forward to the day when my granddaughters or my grandson and my own younger ones can sit and share a cup of coffee with me and share hugs with me and know that I truely love each and everyone of them deeply in my heart.
Relationships can be built over a wonderful cup of coffee and goodies that are homemade.

  44. I love Starbucks. I need to try that new blend! My fave thing that happened at a Starbucks was not that I lost my Starbucks gold card...but that they actually held on to it and that one of my church's pastors saw it one day and he called me up to let me know he had it!

  49. And let's be honest here. My FAVORITE Starbucks memory was two summers ago when Jake and I were in Starbucks, and about to leave, and instead of using the door, he walked STRAIGHT SMACK FACE INTO the little skinny full-paned window right next to it. And I knew it was going to happen, and I had the giggles before it even happened, and couldn't warn him. Yup, that was it.

Or... in Seattle over Thanksgiving in 2009 when my aunt, uncle, cousins, Jake, and I, were just walking the streets downtown and Starbucks hopping, getting tall beverages at random locations. :)

  52. Starbucks memory: When my husband and I were first married we lived in DC and there was a Starbucks on every corner! :) After work and school, we would just sit in a local Starbucks and share about our day or just sit and read with each other. Looking back, it was such a wonderful time, before we got too busy and had kids! (Although we do still try to make it out to a coffee shop for date nights!)

  57. One of the most memorable visits to Starbucks was the time I was meeting a friend, and she brought her little toddler with her. Said toddler was (mostly) potty-trained, but was having a bad day... and wet on her mama THREE times in the space of time it took us to drink our coffee! No joke.

  65. To be honest I have never been to a Starbucks. I know it is very sad. There are just none close to us. I would have to drive about 1/2 and Hour one way just to get my coffee. I wish there was one closer but there is not. So I do not have a good memery or story from Starbucks. Sorry! :(

  80. I saw a FB friend make a comment once about a Samoa latte she had at a Starbucks in NE. The next day I went to a Starbucks in Colorado and asked if they could make one cause it sounded so amazing. The barista smiled wide and said "Of course, we are the Starbucks that created that drink!". He was very excited to tell his coworkers that their creation had made its way to another state.
